Based on a Colombian novel of the same name, The Future of Ismael is experimental sci-fi featuring queer people of color in a dystopian world where community, love and rebellion allow trans post-humans to thrive. Generic Ensemble Company is a Resident Theatre Organization of the Dougherty Arts Center through the Museums and Cultural Programs Division of the Parks and Recreation Department. Three weeks only.

Radical Generosity tickets are for those for whom general admission is an undue burden. None turned away for lack of funds. Deaf and Hard of Hearing patrons welcome to ASL interpretation free-of-charge. Donations accepted at door. DHH patrons who cannot make it to the ASL show can request a script.
